PanoMAGIC is an integrated development environment for the creation of
QuickTime VR. Version 1.0 creates single and multinode QuickTime VR 1.0 and
QuickTime VR 2.0 panoramas.
PanoMAGIC manages QuickTime VR multinode projects, authoring of hotspots,
adding URLs, linking panorama nodes and QuickTime VR Objects, defining
custom VR cursors and creating web ready html.
The Apple QuickTime VR Authoring Kit is supported with a graphic user
interface Stitch Wizard to quickly determine optimum stitching parameters.
No MPW scripting is required. Panorama may be created starting with single
images to be stitched, panoramic (360 degree) pictures or by importing an
existing panorama. PanoMAGIC is targeted to those QuickTime VR authors who
have struggled with the MPW scripting interface to create QuickTime VR. Or
those who have created single node panoramas and need to create a multinode
panorama.
QuickTime VR 1.0 format panoramas may be authored for use with the current
implementation of QuickTime VR in multimedia packages or for the internet.
A simple checkbox toggle recreates the panorama as QuickTime VR 2.0 for
QuickTime plugin 2 and for future support in multimedia packages.
ConVRter converts single and multinode QuickTime VR panoramas between
QuickTime VR 1.0 and QuickTime VR 2.0 file formats. The panorama can be
converted without change, or it may be completely reconfigured.
ReverseRV creates a PICT file of the panoramic picture used to create a
QuickTime VR panorama node; it reverses the VR authoring process.
