Media 100 CineStream Integrates “EventStream” Technology to Enable

software-based interactive streaming media authoring solution for web
developers and professional content creators, is available immediately.
Media 100 CineStream enables a broader range of customers to create and

delivery over the Internet. CineStream provides a unique, software-based
approach to creating video programs specifically designed for the
interactive nature of the Internet and is ideally suited for customers

Media 100 CineStream: One-Stop Interactive Streaming Media Authoring

Available for both Windows and Macintosh platforms, Media 100 CineStream
leverages several key streaming media technologies developed by Media 100
that enable users to capture video content directly from digital video (DV)
sources, edit video content with speed and precision, author compelling
interactive elements directly into the editing timeline and encode the
final product in all major streaming media formats, including Windows
Media, RealSystems, QuickTime and MPEG-1.

EventStream Support

A significant feature of Media 100 CineStream is its timeline integration
of EventStream authoring tools that enable the creation of interactive
streaming content. EventStream enables web designers to embed interactive
instructions directly into streaming media programs to trigger highly
visual, content-rich capabilities, including graphics, Flash animations,
Java applications – all synchronized with the streaming video on the web
site. EventStream supports direct output of QuickTime interactive streaming
media files and direct export to Cleaner 5 for production of interactive
streaming media in RealSystems and Windows Media formats – all directly
from the timeline.

Media 100 CineStream also includes a number of key features that enable the

Pricing and Availability

Media 100 CineStream will be available in February and will be priced at
$499. Media 100 CineStream will also be available online from the Media 100
Online Store (www.media100.com) and will be priced at $479. Media 100
CineStream will be available to registered users of EditDV or MotoDV for
$149.
