Apple makes several announcements at WWDC

Apple made several announcements today from their Worldwide Developer Conference. They announced that Mac OS X would be shipping on all of their computers beginning today; Apple is the first in the industry to move to an all LCD flat panel display pro lineup; its first two retail locations welcomed over 7700 people and sold a combined total of $599,000 of merchandise; they introduced the all new, industrial-strength, Mac OS X Server operating system along with new Macintosh Server G4 hardware configurations; and they announced the availability of WebObjects 5, Apple’s powerful pure Java application server for web publishing and enterprise application development.
