Intego has introduced Disk Guard 2.0, a new version of the Macintosh security software previously developed by Highware (and published by ASD). DiskGuard offers drive- and folder-level password protection, as well as other security features. The software is available for US$49.95; a Mac OS X version is in the works. For those needing file-level protection, Intego also offers FileGuard 4.0. Finally, Intego has set up the product page and is taking pre-orders for Personal Backup 2.0, the third title it acquired from Highware. Personal Backup is a simple backup solution with additional features, including a keystroke recorder. Personal Backup sells for $39.95.
