IDG — organizers of Macworld San Francisco 2002 — have changed the terms of their pre-registration expo passes according to MacCentral. Late in August it was announced that “Free Exhibits Only Passes” were available if you pre-registered before October 15. IDG now says that that offer has been changed for “business reasons.” They are now saying that if you pre-register by January 6 you’ll get six free issues of Macworld magazine and 50 percent off the exhibits only pass, which is US$29.
