CE Software today announced the release of QuickMail 3.0 beta, a new version of its e-mail client and server for OS 8/9 and Mac OS X. The new version adds client and server interfaces that take advantage of Mac OS X’s Aqua interface, a new address book distribution, and numerous other improvements. The public beta version of the QuickMail Pro client is available now, while a beta version of the server will be available in the coming weeks. Pre-orders of the QuickMail Pro 3.0 upgrade are being taken now for US$7 per user from 2.x, which is available for $39.95.
