MacPlay today announced that it plans to debut The Operative: No One Lives Forever, a first-person shooter starring 1960s secret agent Cate Archer, and Icewind Dale, a Forgotten Realms role-playing game featuring an enhanced version of the Baldur’s Gate engine, at next month’s Macworld Conference and Expo 2002 in San Francisco, according to Inside Mac Games. The debut will mark the first time that both games will be seen publicly running on the Mac. Both No One Lives Forever and Icewind Dale are expected to be released in early 2002 for Mac OS 8/9 and Mac OS X.
