Niemeijer Consult announces KeyStrokes Lite X, releases KeyStrokes 2.2

Niemeijer Consult has announced the forthcoming release of KeyStrokes Lite for Mac OS X, an assistive tool that allows physically impaired Mac users to type with a mouse, trackball, head pointer or other cursor input device. KeyStrokes Lite offers five interactively resizable keyboard models, works with U.S. and International keyboard layouts, handles command-key combinations, and more. The company plans to release KeyStrokes Lite for Mac OS X “in the near future.” Niemeijer also released KeyStrokes 2.2, an updated version of the software for Mac OS 7.1 and later. The new version adds enhanced international support through improved handling of dead-keys and non-US keyboard layouts and now works in the Classic layer of Mac OS X for use with Classic applications (requires Mac OS X 10.1.2 and Mac OS 9.2.2).
