Iconfactory releases World of Aqua 3

Apple’s contract with the State of Maine, which will see 36,000 iBooks distributed to seventh and eighth grade students in the state’s public schools this Fall, is valued at $37.2 million and extends over four years, according to Wired. The education order, which is the largest in history, will be paid for by a $30 million Maine Learning Technology Endowment already approved by the state, and $9 million from the Maine School and Library Network. “We look at this as one down, 49 to go,” Steve Jobs said during his Macworld Expo keynote Monday, where he announced the deal.
