In addition to announcing Aliens vs. Predator 2 for Mac OS X yesterday, MacPlay has announced that it plans to publish realMyst for Mac OS 8/9 and Mac OS X, a real-time 3D version of the best-selling computer game of all time, Myst. MacPlay also announced that it plans to ship between 12 and 18 titles in 2002, the majority of which will be for Mac OS X only. MacPlay announced at Macworld Expo San Francisco this week that all titles just beginning development will be developed exclusively for Mac OS X in an effort to reduce development time and costs. Titles previously announced but not yet released, such as The Operative: No One Lives Forever and Icewind Dale, will be released for both Mac OS 8/9 and Mac OS X.
