Beetle=81 is a handheld, low-cost wireless receiver designed specifically fo=

installing and maintaining Wireless Local Area Networks. The instrument
measures and displays signal strength of ALL 802.11b APs (Access Points) on
ALL 14 DSSS channels as well as PERs (Packet Error Rates) and WEP
encryption detection. The device is ideal for any installers and operators
making quick measurement sweeps or pinpointing specific APs of any DSSS
network including Apple’s Airport. Beetle=81 detects and differentiates from
narrow-band interferences such as microwave ovens and frequency-hopping
systems and features a built-in display, menu navigation keypad and
removable, rechargeable batteries for true portability.
