Without fanfare, Mac OS X quietly turned one year old today. It was one year ago to date that copies of Mac OS X 10.0 went on sale at midnight at countless locations around the world. Mac OS X’s roll-out was met with a mixed response as a lack of applications and significant missing features compelled many users to wait until the release of Mac OS X 10.1, six months later, to try the new operating system.
