iMac ad performs well during Oscars

The Intermedia Advertising Group today announced that Apple’s new iMac commercial was one of the best performing during this year’s 74th annual Oscar awards. The runaway favorite was Diet Pepsi’s Cindy Crawford spot. IAG measures a commercial’s success based on a viewer’s ability to remember the commercial and brand, the ability to associate the ad’s message with the company, and the “general likability” of the spot.
