Following up with concerns that the recent version 1.5 release of its iMate driver could corrupt Mac OS X systems, Griffin Technology has released iMate Driver 1.5 Fix, which attempts to correct the problem on systems affected by it. “We apologize to any of our customers that have been inconvenienced by this problem. At this point, the problem appears to have been caused by a recently released version of Apple’s Package Maker application. Since none of the machines that were used for testing the installer had the specific configuration that causes a problem, it was missed,” Griffin explains.
