Olympus today announced the Camedia C-4000 Zoom, a 4 megapixel camera that features a 3x optical zoom and 3.3x digital zoom. Other features include shutter speeds ranging from 16 to 1/1,000 of a second and Multi-Point Metering, which enables up to eight separate points in the image area to be averaged for proper exposures. The C-400 Zoom will be available in August for US$499 and will ship with a 16MB SmartMedia card.
