WiebeTech today introduced a number of FireWire storage solutions that the company will show-off at Macworld Expo:
- NanoGB – a new aluminum FireWire pocket drive that is less than half-an-inch thick and features Oxford’s 911 FireWire bridge; available in August in capacities of 20GB (US$217.95), 30GB ($259.95), and 40GB ($299.95); will also be available in an alternate version with a single USB 2.0 port for $199.95, $239.95, and $279.95, respectively
- UltraGB – FireWire bus-powered storage device for 3.5-inch drives, which features fan-less operation and also uses the Oxford 911 FireWire bridge; available in September in capacities of 40GB ($239.95), 60GB ($249.95), and 80GB ($269.95)
- Super DriveDock – a FireWire bus-powered bridge interface that allows users to connect any 3.5-inch IDE drive with capacities of 160GB or less; available in late July for $159.95
