Flat-panel displays are still in limited supply, and the shortage is expected to continue through the rest of the year despite a recent LG Philips plant opening which produces LCDs, according to c|net. Carl Steudle, marketing vice president for LG Philips LCD America said at a recent keynote address that “The (fabrication plants) are not making them fast enough to meet demand. And supply will be tight for 2002.”
