Apple this morning announced updated Power Mac G4 configurations with the following specifications:

Dual-1.0GHz G4 | 256MB DDR | 80GB | DVD-RW/CD-RW | Radeon 9000 Pro | $2,499 |
Dual-1.25GHz G4 | 512MB DDR | 120GB | DVD-RW/CD-RW | Radeon 9000 Pro | $3,299 |
All configurations feature an updated case, Double-Data Rate (DDR) RAM, Gigabit Ethernet, two FireWire ports, four PCI slots, and one AGP 4x slot. The dual-867MHz configuration features a 133MHz system bus and uses PC2100 DDR SDRAM, while the dual-1GHz and dual-1.25GHz systems feature a 167MHz bus and use PC2700 DDR SDRAM. The dual-867MHz configuration and dual-1GHz models will start shipping this week, while the high-end dual-1.25GHz model will ship in the second-half of September.
