Hewlett-Packard today announced a new line of printers and connectivity devices aimed at providing feature rich, cost effective solutions for printing everyday business communications in color. According to the press release, the new family of products include the industry’s first US$299 high-performance, portable color printer with optional Bluetooth connectivity; HP’s first $999 color laser printer; a new $799 workgroup color inkjet printer that delivers color printing at up to 8 ppm laser-like speed; the fastest color HP LaserJet printer to date, featuring wide-format in-line printing (at up to 21 ppm for letter output); and new connectivity products that support printer maintenance, management and wireless connectivity.
