Griffin Technology has announced the first beta release of Final Vinyl, a Mac OS X-only audio application that allows users to record old vinyl records using Griffin’s iMic and a turntable. The record player connects directly to the iMic and the Final Vinyl software records the album. Final Vinyl Beta 0.6 for OS X is available immediately as a free download, while the iMic sells for US$35.
