Hitachi today added a new high-contrast 20.1″ flat-panel LCD display to its line of high performance monitors. The CML200B offers a resolution of 1600×1200, and features MVA technology for “superior sharpness, brightness and color reproduction across wide viewing angles with an extended life backlight that lasts twice as long as most competitive models.” The display also features viewing angles of 170-degrees in both horizontal and vertical directions, analog and digital inputs, side-mounted detachable speakers, and an integrated microphone and a headphone jack. The CML200B is Mac and PC compatible, and will ship in November for US$1,599.
