StageTools today released MovingPicture 4.0, an update to its popular image pan and zoom software. Version 4.0 includes support for Mac OS 10.2 (Jaguar), the ability to use the alpha channel in images for high-quality floating logos and special effects, the ability to rotate the camera in 3 dimensions to achieve “skewed” effects, and a host of productivity enhancements. According to StageTools, MovingPicture is widely used by broadcasters, documentarians, schools, corporate and event videographers, including: ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, BBC, PBS, MSNBC, Discovery, LifeTime, A&E, and Ken Burns. MovingPicture is available as a US$199 plug-in for After Effects, Avid, Final Cut Pro, Media 100, and Premiere, for both Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X.
