Mireth Technology today released MacVCD X 4.1.6, an update to its movie player that plays Video CD, Super VCD, and Quicktime movies. The new version fixes a full-screen menu problem. “The QuickTime 6.1 upgrade from Apple resulted in several problems with applications that use full screen windows. In our MacVCD X product, after users upgraded to Quicktime 6.1, menus titles would highlight in the menu bar but the menus themselves no longer appeared to drop down. Working with Apple developer support, we isolated the problem and have released MacVCD X 4.1.6 which implements the changes recommended by Apple to correct this problem.”
