Blizzard Entertainment announced today Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, an expansion set to Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, which has sold more than 2 million copies since its release in July 2002. Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne will provide gamers with a “vast new chapter in the epic Warcraft saga,” and feature one new Hero per race, a host of new units, 3 new tilesets, player-built shops, an advanced world editor, expanded multiplayer options over Battle.net, and more. Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne is currently slated for release this summer, and is expected to retail for US$35.
