The Omni Group has released OmniOutliner 2.2b1, a new beta version of its popular Mac OS X outlining tool. The beta adds XML export, which allows users to present outlines in many new formats through XSLT, a language for transforming XML documents into other types of documents. This means you can use a stylesheet to transform the XML into HTML that Word can understand as an outline. The OmniOutliner 2.2 beta also provides import and export compatibility with Keynote files, and includes several bug fixes, new features, and improvements since version 2.1.1, all of which can be found here.
