Blackmagic Design today announced the immediate availability of DeckLink 2, a new version of the company’s DeckLink uncompressed 10 bit video board with real time effects. DeckLink is designed specifically for connecting to digital broadcast tape decks and independent audio and video monitoring, and is priced at US$995. The company will also give away a free DeckLink 2 card at the Motion Graphics Los Angles user group meeting today.
