“Core Mac OS X and Unix Programming” returns to Big Nerd Ranch

The Big Nerd Ranch has announced the return of “Core Mac OS X and Unix Programming,” a course which allows programmers to harness the power of Mac OS X’s Unix foundation. The class will be taught the week of March 31 – April 4, 2003 by instructor Mark Dalrymple at the Big Nerd Ranch lodge outside Atlanta, Georgia. Class topics include multi-threading, daemons, distributed objects, network programming, Rendezvous, performance tuning, advanced debugging techniques, security framework, and exception handling. The course price of US$3,500 includes lodging, all meals, original instruction materials, 24-hour lab access, and transportation to and from the Atlanta airport (ATL).
