Panic today released Desktastic 3.0, a new version of its “Li’l App” that lets users draw directly on their Mac OS X desktop. Desktastic 3.0 adds a number of features, including Wacom tablet support for pressure sensitivity and erasing, auto-saving of drawings on quit, the ability to print drawings, configurable toolbar positioning, and a “Drawing Layer” preference that lets users tuck their drawings out of the way underneath the Desktop icons if desired. Version 3.0 is a free upgrade for all Desktastic owners. For new users, Desktastic is priced at US$12.95.
