Prosoft Engineering has released an update to its Data Rescue utility that brings a significant increase in the speed of the data recovery process, according to the developers. “Prosoft enhanced Data Rescue with a breakthrough Ram utilization technique resulting in a recovery speed increase of more than 100%.” The updated version also incorporates a “Scan File” option, which allows you to save the results of your scan in order to quickly recover additional files in the future. Data Rescue X 10.2.1 for Mac OS X and Data Rescue Classic 4.2.1 for Mac OS 8/9 are now available for download.
