Directors NoteBook software today announced the release of Directors NoteBook Pro and Directors NoteBook SA. Directors NoteBook SA is a stand-alone application (does not require FileMaker Pro) that has nearly all of the features as the Pro version, but does not have the customization and multi-user network collaboration capabilities and is only available for Mac OSX. With Directors NoteBook SA’s many reports, print outs (nearly 20), and export functions, customization may not be an issue for many users, and the all inclusive price makes it affordable for almost everyone, even film students. A single user license for Directors NoteBook SA is US$169, while the Pro version is $250. A free trial is also available.
