E-on Software today announced the release of Ozone 2.0 for Cinema 4D, its plug-in for adding natural animated atmospheric effects to Maxon’s flagship product, Cinema 4D. Version 2.0 brings a volumetric atmosphere system for simulating the interaction of light and air. The update also offers rapid creation of animated clouds and sunsets. Ozone 2.0 for Cinema 4D is comprised of 2 different plug-ins — a 3D Shader plug-in and a Post-Process plug-in — together with an easy-to-use interface that allows users to fine tune the included pre-sets or generate entirely new atmospheres. Ozone 2.0 for Cinema 4D, available for both Mac OS X and Windows, is priced at US$199 and supports Maxon’s latest release of Cinema 4D, R8.
