Martian Technology today announced that it has added iTunes music sharing support to its Martian NetDrive wireless storage products. “Music stored on Martian’s line of wireless hard drives can now be streamed directly into Apple’s iTunes software with no special setup or configuration required. Macintosh users connected to a network containing a Martian NetDrive simply see the music appear within iTunes; a single click gives them full access to all music stored on the NetDrive. Apple’s Rendezvous technology allows the NetDrive to seek out Macintosh computers on the network and announce its music collection automatically.” The software is available today on all newly ordered Martian NetDrives. A software update containing this feature will be made available to existing customers as well.
