O’Reilly announced the winners of this year’s Mac OS X Innovators Contest at the O’Reilly Open Source Convention today. The contest, sponsored by the Apple Developer Connection (ADC), rewards “innovative Mac OS X applications, plug-ins, user interface widgets, or other creative original software.” In the new International category, Hydra took top honors, while LaunchBar for OS X claimed second place. First place winner in the US category was VooDooPad, and the second place winner was Audio Hijack Pro.
