Aspyr today announced that it will be publishing a Mac version of X2 Wolverine’s Revenge, the 3D action-adventure game based on the famous comic book (and film) character. “Decades ago, a secret organization brainwashed you and implanted a virtually unbreakable adamantium skeleton into your body. Now, as Wolverine — the X-men’s most dangerous weapon — you’ve discovered you were also implanted with a deadly virus that will kill you within the next 48 hours unless the antidote is found.” The game, which requires Mac OS X 10.2.6 or later, can be pre-ordered now for US$49.99. The conversion is being done by i5works and is currently at the Final Candidate stage, but a shipping date was not announced.
