AppleMaster Gregory Hines dead at 57

The Associated Press reports that Tony Award winner Gregory Hines, the tap-dancing actor who starred on Broadway and in movies including “White Nights” and “Running Scared,” has died of cancer. He was 57. Hines was part of the AppleMaster program, “an exclusive, invitation-only program recognizing up to 100 leaders per year in a variety of fields including: art, science, education, design, music, athletics and entertainment, and showcases experts who share a passion and admiration for the Macintosh platform.”
