Walt Mossberg of the Wall Street Journal is the latest to pen a review of Apple’s iChat AV and iSight. “The image quality that iSight captured was remarkably accurate,” he writes. “Many other Web cams take dark, grainy images, but these were clear, bright and colorful… the iChat/iSight video chatting experience was vastly better than any other I’ve tried. It’s the first video-messaging system I’d use.” However, Mossberg noted iSight’s biggest drawback: “you won’t be able to do video chatting with most of the world, which uses Windows and slow, dial-up connections.”
