Apple today released Mac OS X 10.2.8, which delivers “enhanced functionality and improved reliability for the following applications, services and technologies: Audio, Bluetooth, Classic compatibility, Finder, Graphics, LDAP, Power Management, Safari, and FireWire and USB device compatibility.” The update also provides updated security services and includes the latest security updates. According to Apple, version 10.2.8 does not work with Power Mac G5s (which ship with v10.2.7) and is only for use with G3- and G4-based Macs. Update: Apple has also posted Mac OS X Server 10.2.8, which provides the same fixes found in the client version of 10.2.8, as well as improvements to the client login and authentication experience for the server software.
