In addition to Apple Stores nationwide, Tekserve, New York’s independent Mac shop, and First Tech, Minneapolis’ largest Apple specialist, will also be hosting events for the release of Mac OS X 10.3 Panther. Both stores will start selling Panther at 8:00 p.m. this Friday, October 24. Tekserve will feature live music by Andy Stein and His Swing Quartet, refreshments, and iPod raffles. First Tech is offering a free $10 gift certificate for the Green Mill Restaurant and a free copy of MacSoft’s Civilization III: Game of the Year Edition with every copy of Panther.
