Discreet announced today that it is now shipping Combustion 3 for Mac, the latest version of the company’s motion graphics, vector paint, visual effects and 3D compositing desktop software. New features in version 3 include Mac OS X 10.3 Panther support; customizable brushes; savable presets; timeline markers; Editing Operator, which allows users to assemble video with transitions directly in Combustion without having to use non-linear editing software (NLE); Expressions, which enables artists to easily create complex animations; Macromedia Flash output; and more. The software sells for US$995.
