Ambrosia Software today announced the release of Snapz Pro X 2.0, a major update to its popular screen/video capture utility for Mac OS X. Version 2.0 offers a completely redesigned interface; a “Live Preview,” function, which shows you exactly how your screenshot will look before you save it to disk. This allows you to change border styles, scaling, cropping, and other settings on-the-fly; significantly faster video capture; and much more. Snapz Pro X 2.0 requires MacOS X 10.2 or later and is priced at US$69. Upgrades from Snapz Pro X 1.0 with movie capture are $20.
