Apple is hosting a series of free seminars in certain US cities that will demonstrate Final Cut Pro 4.1 used with AJA’s Io (a FireWire video interface) and the Power Mac G5. The sessions will cover: how to rip through multilayered video projects with up to seven real-time video streams; how to generate professional results with nearly 200 real-time filters, effects, and transitions; how to perfect your video with real-time color correction scopes and a new Frame Viewer for comparing shots; and how to use FireWire for fully uncompressed 8- and 10-bit SD capture and output.
