Apple scored the highest (74 out of a possible 100) among PC makers in the latest Consumer Reports desktop support survey. Over 4,000 consumers took part in the survey, which can be found in the March issue of the magazine. Apple was followed by Dell with 62, Gateway with 61, Hewlett-Packard with 54, and Compaq with 51.
