Toon Boom Technologies will release a public beta of Toon Boom Studio 2.5 for the Mac on Feb. 25 for all current Mac customers to try out. To participate in the public beta, owners of the previous version of Toon Boom Studio for the Mac must have registered their license key on the Toon Boom Studio Web site. Eligible customers will receive instructions by e-mail on how to access the 30-day Beta version and will have three weeks to submit feedback. The commercial release of Toon Boom Studio V2.5 for the Mac is scheduled “soon” after the public beta, according to Joan Vogelesang, president and CEO of Toon Boom.
