John Couch, Apple’s vice president of education, will be one of the keynote speakers at the 24th annual
Microcomputers in Education Conference (MEC), which will be held March 15-17, 2004 at Arizona State University in Tempe. Sponsored by the Arizona State University Macintosh User Group (ASUMUG), the event will also include the iCademy Digital Film Festival, and day-long pre-conference workshops on Final Cut Pro 4, Mac OS X for Lab Managers, Digital Music and Dreamweaver MX 2004, according to a report at The MUG Center, an online resource for Mac user groups. MEC expected to draw over 1,500 K-12 teachers, administrators and university educators.
