Apple VP of education to speak at MEC

John Couch, Apple’s vice president of education, will be one of the keynote speakers at the 24th annual
Microcomputers in Education Conference (MEC)
, which will be held March 15-17, 2004 at Arizona State University in Tempe. Sponsored by the Arizona State University Macintosh User Group (ASUMUG), the event will also include the iCademy Digital Film Festival, and day-long pre-conference workshops on Final Cut Pro 4, Mac OS X for Lab Managers, Digital Music and Dreamweaver MX 2004, according to a report at The MUG Center, an online resource for Mac user groups. MEC expected to draw over 1,500 K-12 teachers, administrators and university educators.
