As expected, Salling Software today announced the release of Salling Clicker 2.1, the latest version of the company’s application to remotely control a wide range of applications with a Sony Ericsson phone, Palm OS handheld and more. Salling says that version 2.1 is a “significant update,” adding extensive support for Symbian-based smartphones from Nokia, Siemens, and Sony Ericsson. In addition to smartphone support, this release improves ease-of-use and adds new functionality. Salling Clicker requires Mac OS X 10.2.8 or higher and is priced at US$19.95.
