SmileOnMyMac has posted PDFpen 1.2, the latest release of the company’s software that lets Mac users “take control of their PDFs,” enabling them to split, combine, reorder, and augment PDFs with text and image overlays. Version 1.2 offers a number of new features, including a freehand drawing tool, library palette, editable PDF document info, page rotation, and more. PDFpen requires Mac OS X 10.2.5 or later and sells for US$29.95. A 30-day demo version is available.
