Mellel, the multilingual word processor from RedleX, has been updated to version 1.7.5. The upgrade offers extensive RTF import and export support, .doc import (Mac OS X 10.3 only) and export, bulleted and numbered lists, and 35 other new features and enhancements. The special import and export engine developed by RedleX allows users smooth integration with both Mac OS X RTF and Microsoft Word RTF brands, according to Guy Hivroni, cofounder and chief GUI (graphical user interface) designer for Mellel. The update is free to all registered users of Mellel and can be downloaded directly from the company’s Web site. For new users the cost is US$29; a free trial version is also available
