MacShirt.com (formerly MacSurfShop) today announced that it is ceasing operations after nearly five years in business. The site produced and sold a wide variety pro-Mac shirts to Apple fans worldwide. “Over the years we have seen many changes in the Macintosh market, as well as with our small little Web site,” said the site’s founder Mike Yrabedra in the press release. “Unfortunately it is now time to shut down MacShirt.com. This decision was not made without much thought and prayer. We have come to a point where we feel our efforts are better spent on our other ventures.” To clear out inventory, all shirts at the MacShirt are available for US$9.95 while supplies last. “When it stopped being fun is when I knew it was time to close the doors,” Yrabedra told MacMinute when asked about his decision.
