Apple’s Games page is offering a look at TRON 2.0. Due next month from MacPlay, the US$49.99 game takes place in the present day, two decades after the events of the 1980s film that inspired it. Gamers are “digitized” into cyberspace to battle corruption both inside and outside of the computer world. In addition to the single-player experience, TRON 2.0 offers team-based multiplayer levels that allow up to 16 players to compete simultaneously. The Apple Games article says the game “continues not only the 1982 film’s story and themes but also its ahead-of-the-curve effects.”
