The 2004 Vidy Awards, Digital Television/TV Broadcast Awards and Government Video Salutes — which recognize outstanding achievement in the advancement of the art and science of video technology — were announced at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) conference. Apple picked up a Vidy Award for Motion and Xsan as well as a Government Video Salute Award for Motion and its part in Panasonic’s 100 Mbps DV-HD over FireWire product. Apple and Panasonic also received a DTV Pick of Show Award.
